Down and out

The Internet that is. I am posting this from my hubby's smart phone, just to let my friends know that all is well except for our internet connection. Our service provider informs us that someone cut one of Rogers main fibre cables and they are struggling to get it repaired. Apparently, Teksavvy's clients are not getting the same priority as Rogers clients. Please stay tuned and do not adjust your television sets. Normal service should resume shortly...

  1. Rotten turn of luck. You'll just have to amuse the cats in the meantime.

  2. It does not sound fun. Hope you are back soon. Right now, I write most of elnasfotoblogg.blogspot.com for cats takes much more time than I thought. I look into this as soon as I have time.

  3. Hi Deb. I hope you are able to see this comment. I have a cat question for you. We have a very shy cat....she stays in our bedroom all day but will roam around the house at night. She has started meowing a lot during the day. I keep giving her water and she drinks it. Before I hardly knew she drank any. She has had a couple episodes of urinating outside her litter box. We keep it in a shower we don't use. The door had been closed.....and I think she closed the door. She is 11 years old. We used to vet her but she got impossible to transport her to the vet. She was not going in a box for anything. I am wondering, could she have something going on and how would I find out. She seems to be eating okay, but that is sometimes hard to tell. Otherwise she acts okay other than the constant meowing. I don't notice a weight loss but she won't let you pick her up. She will let me pet her for awhile and then she gives me a friendly nibble of a bite. Is there anything over the counter that I can do for her.
I know this is pretty hard to offer advice on this but wondered if you had this experience with some of the cats you care for.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

  8. Oh no, hope you have your internet back by now! My sister left yesterday to return to Ottawa, and she says it is hot, hot there. We have returned to cooler temps - 20C today and drizzly. The kitties are much happier with cooler weather and they don't care if it rains, as long as they are able to see the birds and squirrels from their window.
